Welcome to Veritlas ("COMPANY," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement made between you, whether personally or on behalf of an entity ("you") and Veritlas, concerning your access to and use of our software-as-a-service platform, website, and related applications (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using the Services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by all of these Terms.
Veritlas provides a platform for the cryptographic verification, recording, and secure storage of digital media (including photographs, video, and associated metadata). The Services generate tamper-evident records intended for use in property management, gig-worker liability protection, fleet vehicle management, and related evidentiary use cases.
While Veritlas implements rigorous cryptographic and metadata verification protocols designed to establish the authenticity and unalterability of digital records, we do not guarantee the admissibility of such records in any specific legal, administrative, or arbitral proceeding. The admissibility and weight of evidence are determined by the presiding judicial or administrative body in accordance with applicable rules of evidence. Veritlas is not a law firm and the provision of our Services does not constitute legal advice.
Unless otherwise indicated, the Services—including all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (excluding User Content), and the trademarks and logos contained therein—are owned or controlled by us and are protected by copyright and trademark laws and various other intellectual property rights.
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL Veritlas, ITS DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE TO YOU OR ANY THIRD PARTY FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFIT, LOST REVENUE, LOSS OF DATA (INCLUDING LOSS OF EVIDENTIARY RECORDS DUE TO FORCE MAJEURE OR SYSTEM FAILURE), OR OTHER DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Services, for any reason, including without limitation, breach of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services will immediately cease. Should we terminate your account due to fraud, we may, at our discretion, retain cryptographic metadata to comply with legal obligations or participate in investigations.
These Terms and your use of the Services are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
